Since I couldn't speak very well, I began to photograph things that I saw and spent my off hours roaming around finding out what the world was really composed of. For years, I had been taught the classical views of the inside of the world and now I was beginning to experience the outer structure. My early photographs were completely void of people. I then realized that I was becoming more and more fascinated with people and although I still find great excitement in new views of the world, people have somewhat taken over the plethora of images I photograph month to month. This is sort of how I found myself as a portrait photographer. Although I must admit, it was one of the last things I ever thought I would be doing.
